Neat, so Chris Hedges was right. I watched this 12 years ago and was overwhelmingly in agreement with Sam. After watching some of the most rapid wealth consolidation the world has ever seen over the last 4 years, the effects that Chris describes in this conversation couldn't be more apparent. Sam's view, while often humorous and deeply engaging, is utterly myopic.

I have to say that I am surprised and extremely impressed by Sharptons performance in this debate. Compared to every other person that Hitchens has debated I think Al is in the top 3 maybe 2. He's holding his own.
